How Fun Comes to Banqiao Station
How Fun - affordable Spanish cuisine in Taiwan. |
We needed to get one of the children's toys fixed, so we headed to Mega City earlier. Turns out the toy needed quality batteries, Lol!
Anyway, it was getting late so we decided to head to Banqiao Station and noticed a new restaurant on the second floor. How Fun is an amazing Spanish paella and tapas restaurant. It was actually recommend by my students last semester, when they did their restaurant review ppts. I have to completely agree with my students, it really is awesome! We ordered the set meal for two, which was enough food for 2 adults and 2 small children. We started with a delicious Spanish style soup, which I guess was tomato and pumpkin, but forgot to check the menu. Our second dish was a huge salad bowl, which contained tuna, eggs, a variety of vegetables and a delicious Spanish style marie rose sauce.

Then our main arrived, which was a large bowl of pork and mushroom paella. It was superb, seriously, the pork just melted and the mushrooms were bursting with flavor!
Lastly the dessert came, which was a large egg tart with a caramelized glaze on the top. Although it was simple, it was a delectable end to our dining experience. I highly recommend How Fun, especially the one on the second floor of Banqiao station
